The Lost Symbol

Doubleday Publishers has released the cover art for Dan Brown's next novel, The Lost Symbol. I have preordered my copy (actually 2 months ago), as I did for The DaVinci Code (when Brown was virtually unknown, but that's a long story). I recommend that each of the informed readers here (is there any other kind?) get prepared for a major discussion this Fall about the historical, spiritual DNA of America (particularly in regards to Freemasonry). This may be the Fall of the unveiling, or the unveiling of the Fall, or something like that.

BTW, if the publisher for John Farmer, who served as the senior counsel for the 9/11 Commission, also releases his book (previously due to release in Canada in April) saying that the testimony/report was, to a great degree, let's say "inaccurate," (which I have not preordered; I'll buy it if necessary--it's not central to my concerns) it could make for quite interesting discussions this fall.

Just wanted to give BTP readers a heads up.

again, one of the most intense, short and to the point posts on here and 1 comment? Come on peoples! :-)

Somehow in my head the spiritual DNA of America and 9/11 official report being a lie are kind of more important than whether or not Jesus commanded his disciples to take swords to defend themselves or to cut down small plants that they might want to eat :-)

Spiritual DNA of this world IS important, rdubbs. But frankly, I don't expect any truth to come from government, local, state, or federal. I'll have to read The Lost Symbol...just 'cause your Dad suggested it! LOL ;)

rdubbs,
I would argue that both are important, and possibly even related.

rdubbs,
I never comment on the coming attractions in a theater either. ;-)
