America and Nazi Eugenics

This may be old information for some of you, but not for all. I don't think I've mentioned this before on this blog.

Yes, a strong case for the philosophical roots of eugenics can be traced, not to Germany, but to America. Here is a recent article from George Mason university.

Hey, Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood and the most vocal American eugenics advocate; pictured to the left) wasn't Chinese.

And just this week, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg publicly says that, at the time of Roe v. Wade, she thought the ruling was about the need to get rid of undesirables in the population. Here is her quote in the NY Times:

Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.

And if you don't think euthanasia is coming big time, you haven't checked the actuarial stats recently. Baby boomers (who thought abortion was such a great idea), think of the closing scene of Soylent Green.
